General
What is digital planning?
It’s all in the name! Think the planning you’d usually do on paper, done instead on a device such as your laptop, tablet or phone. Digital planners are usually PDF files with links that allow you to navigate from page to page. When loaded into a note-taking app, you can annotate them with tasks, important dates and more.
What do I need to get started?
The easiest device to plan on is a tablet or iPad, because of its similarity to the size of a piece of paper. It’s recommended to have a stylus or Apple Pencil to easily write in your planner. You’ll also need a note-taking app of your choice – there are lots to choose from, so find the one that suits you!
Compatibility
What iPad do I need?

Will my planner/stickers work on Android?
Yes! If you have a note-taking app that supports PDF annotation and hyperlinks, all Matcha & Memo products will work in it.
What app should I use?
We recommend trying out some apps and deciding which one works best for you. All Matcha & Memo products are compatible with any note-taking app that supports PDF annotation, including Goodnotes, Collanote, Notability, Noteshelf and more. Please note that some apps may have limited features compared to others, which may prevent some of our products from working as intended.
Troubleshooting & How To
Why aren’t my hyperlinks working?
Most apps require you to exit ‘Edit Mode’ in order to use hyperlinks. For example, in Goodnotes, tap the pencil icon on the main menu to toggle in and out of ‘Edit Mode’ (the menu will be gray when ‘Edit Mode’ is off). Then, simply tap the hyperlinks to navigate between pages.
I’m having trouble importing my files
Ensure that you have unzipped the files you have downloaded first. To do this, tap the .zip file, double-click or righthand-click > ‘Extract’, depending on your device. You can now import your PDF file into your note-taking app.
For stickers, you will find both PNG files and a .collection file in your unzipped folder. The .collection file is for use in Goodnotes only. If you are using another app, use the PNG files.
